After all, many\u00a0American high schoolers are hopeless at geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, it&#8217;s probably unsurprising that you don&#8217;t know where to \nspot Tanzania on the map.&nbsp;But, Tanzania should definitely be on your \nmust-visit list of destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you know where it is, you won&#8217;t be able to keep yourself from  wishing you were there right now. So, whether you&#8217;re asking &#8220;<strong>where is  Tanzania<\/strong>?&#8221; or &#8220;why should I go there?&#8221;, we&#8217;ve got the answers for you in  the blog below. Let&#8217;s get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where Is Tanzania?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanzania is on the East coast of Africa. It&#8217;s easy to spot once you know what to look for on the map.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North of Tanzania, you can find the countries of Kenya and Uganda. Watch the Great Migration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most amazing sights is the <strong>Great Migration<\/strong>. This is when  over one million wildebeest cross over the Serengeti searching for fresh  grass.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many dangers which they could encounter during the journey.\n From the scary predators to the hazardous water crossings, this \nmajestic sight is breathtaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Climb Up Mount Kilimanjaro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You have almost certainly heard of <strong>Mount Kilimanjaro<\/strong>. This is the highest mountain in Africa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mountain places an important role in the life of the local \npeoples. The Delicious Local Cuisine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanzania has some of the most underrated food in the world. This \namazing mix of traditional African dishes with the influence of Indian \nand Arabic cuisines makes for something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll be able to taste everything for an affordable price. From the \nfive-star restaurants to the thriving food markets, there are few better\n places to gorge on food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. The Maasai People<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maasai people have been living in the northern parts of Tanzania \nfor thousands of years. They have become internally famous for their \ndistinctive culture and red cloths.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can experience the culture for yourself. The communities usually \nwelcome in any foreigners to spend time with them.
