The country is famously known as the \u201cCradle of mankind\u201d for it is in <strong>Olduvai Gorge<\/strong> where the remains of Homo Habilis was found. It\u2019s a multi ethnic state with a great variety of languages in the country and the main ones being English and Swahili.<\/p>\n<p>We have various <strong>Tanzania safari packages<\/strong> that you can select from in our <strong>East Africa itinerary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Below I will describe to you a 7 days Tanzania Holiday safari trip<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Day 1. From Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park<\/p>\n<p>Departs daily at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>The distance is around 130 km (2hrs 30 minutes).<br \/>\nWe will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and depart to Lake Manyara National Park for lunch and afternoon game viewing.<br \/>\nLake Manyara is a birdwatcher&#8217;s paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment; elephants stand in the shade of the baobab; and in the acacia woodland, lion\u2019s lie draped along the branches of the umbrella trees.<br \/>\nDinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Kirurumu Tented Camp<\/p>\n<p>Day 2. From Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park<\/p>\n<p>The distance is around 270 km (4 hrs). After breakfast, depart Lake Manyara National Park and drive to the famous Serengeti National Park stopping on the way at Olduvai Gorge, the archaeological site made famous by Louis &amp; Mary Leakey. Lunch and afternoon game drive in the most famous of all the sanctuaries and one of the last great strongholds of wildlife in the world. Serengeti National Park<\/p>\n<p>Morning and afternoon game drive in the park, with its huge concentration of plain game. A magnificent experience awaits as you travel to the most famous wildlife park in Africa the legendary Serengeti. Here you might have the chance to see the migration, where thousands of zebra and wildebeest make trip from the <strong>Masai Mara<\/strong> every year. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or Serengeti Sopa Lodge<\/p>\n<p>Day 4. From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater<\/p>\n<p>The distance is around 200 km (4 hrs 30 minutes). After breakfast, enjoy an extended game drive enroute towards Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch. The crater is one of the largest intact volcanic Caldera in the world, the crater floor offers game viewing to homely permanent population of more than 30 000 animals, and is one of the only places in Africa. Enjoy leisure and relaxation with sightseeing. Dinner and Overnight at the crater rim Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge<\/p>\n<p>Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater<\/p>\n<p>After breakfast, descend into the <strong>Ngorongoro Crater<\/strong>, one of the wonders of the natural world. An extinct volcano that collapsed around 25 million years ago thus forming a vast super bowl where the largest permanent concentration of African game is on display. The views from the top of the crater wall are absolutely breathtaking which are forested but four wheel drive vehicles will take you down into this primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelters around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depends on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck and the few black rhino that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingoes and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. The game drives are done with packed lunch included. In the evening, ascend back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge<\/p>\n<p>Day 6. From Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park<\/p>\n<p>The distance is around 95 km (1 hr. 30 minutes). After breakfast, drive to <strong>Tarangire National Park<\/strong> for <strong>game viewing<\/strong> arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and leisure. In the afternoon you&#8217;ll be taken on a game drive through the park. Many of the animals congregate around the only source of permanent water in the park, the <strong>Tarangire River<\/strong>. This is the best place in Tanzania to see really big herds of elephants of up to 300 at a time on safari. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire River Camp,<\/p>\n<p>Day 7: From Tarangire National Park to Arusha<\/p>\n<p>Distance: 120 km (2 hrs). Early morning game viewing.
